"To be honest, I've never heard any of the songs on this compilation. When I picked it up a while back, I was thinking that this was another good 'ol DJ mix by Mr. Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim). When I got home and popped into my CD player, I was...pleasantly surprised. It didn't take too long for me realize that the purpose for this album was to, I guess, give you an idea where Fatboy Slim gets his samples from. After listening to this several times I thought it was pretty cool. The first song makes you feel like you're listening to "Praise You" in a slower tempo, "Sliced Tomatoes", "the Kettle", "Young Scene" by Keith Mansfield, "Shake What Ya' Mamma Gave Ya" are all great songs in their original form. I'd recommend this to anyone and I'm glad that I chose it. If you like funk, Old School Hip-Hop or psychedelic music, I'm sure you'll enjoy this"
