"Underrated 90s Motown singer combines tastefully restrained physical appearance of Patti LaBelle with energetic but never suggestive dance-pop of Janet Jackson. No-hit album "Sweet As It Comes" has well-produced if not terribly distinctive material. Best song (in my opinion): "Watch Me Walk.""
