Weaving clarinet, mandolin, guitars, keyboards, bass, percussion and passionate vocals into an enchanting melange, Night Sun music could be described as folk-jazz-klez-grass . Drive is Night Sun s fifth CD since their origins on Baffin Island in the early 90 s, and the first to be released from their own studio: Leopard Frog Studio. Taking a noticeable step towards blues and jazz, with original music written primarily by Ellen Hamilton, this CD features Night Sun s first recorded cover, a song by Woody Guthrie.
