CD Reviews

This cd should be titled "The Best Of The Boston Pops"

"I don't believe I have ever heard a cd where I loved every song on it. Usually there is always a few songs that I don't like. Well this cd is the exception to the rule. I truely like and enjoy every wonderful tune played here. The orchestra out did themselves for this project. They had outstanding arrangements and played what I call "the music of heaven". I just hope when I die, there will be some of this wonderful music playing in Heaven. This cd is just to good to really be able to fairly describe.I don't know how such good cds like this one get produced. but I wish someone would to try to use this cd as an example for future projects.I Would Like To Recommend This Cd"

"The "voice" may be gone, but the songs that are forever linked to one Francis Albert Sinatra are showcased in this tribute album by the Boston Pops. Considering that most of these were written by the greatest songwriters in history and performed by one of the most singular talents in the area of recorded music, there is no way that the Boston Pops could have failed. The only "downside" to this superlative collection is the omission of the songs "That's Life," "It Was a Very Good Year," and, without a doubt, Sinatra's best work, "My Way."For that reason, one star must be subtracted."
