CD ReviewsGreat album from leader of BAP 06/24/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "This outstanding album is the first side project by the lead singer and lyricist of BAP, a German rock band from Cologne, Germany. Like BAP's albums, the songs on Schlagzeiten (which means "Headlines") are sung in Koelsch, a German dilaect from Cologne. But you don't need to understand the lyrics to love the music.The two best songs are "Nie met Aljebra" (Never with Algebra) which is a long ballad about the Holocaust, and "Groon en Platania" (Green in Platania), which is about the German police (who wear Green uniforms) breaking up an environmental protest. But there are no bad songs on the album, and you won't regret the purchase"
