This album doesn't exist. I was curious about it, as I'd seen a few sites reference it also. But it was fishy that Schema's own site wouldn't have done more to promote such an influential artist on their website or email list. After all, Conte's last album was released in conjunction with Blue Note records but many of the 12" singles and EP's form it are available on Ishtar's site. So finally I asked the Idizione Ishtar label themselves what was going on, and they said that Conte doesn't have a new album out yet. BUT... they mentioned that he is working on an album that is slated for a late Fall 2006 or winter 2006-2007 release. It's possible and happened before... Rosalia De Souza's newest album was released in Japan before it was released mainstream by Schema.



This was listed as a Japanese market import, even though I didn't see anything on a few of the Japanese sites I follow. So... don't hold your breath on this one and be on the look-out for Conte's numerous remixes and other production work until his new album is out."
