"What a WONDERFUL CD! This guy can sing! EMOTION, PASSION only the GREATS sing like that baby! "HOTEL HAPPINESS" and Sam Cooke's "NOTHING CAN CHANGE THIS LOVE" are so good,that it does'nt matter what else "UPTOWN MOOD" has on it! It does have ten other very good songs on it. Also the fantastic sax of Erine Watts on four tunes, goes great with Mr.DePaola's SMOOTH VOCALS."

""ANGEL EYES", "HOTEL HAPPINESS","AND I LOVE HER" and "MIDNIGHT SWINGER" all 10's! just GREAT! NICKY DEPAOLA, IS THE NEXT FRANK SINATRA! WHEN THE RIGHT PERSON DISCOVERS HIM, LOOK OUT! WE SAW HIM LAST YEAR AT A CASINO IN RENO, HE WAS FANTASTIC! ALL OF HIS CD's ARE GREAT! HE HAS A WAY ABOUT HIM THAT ONLY THE TRUE GREAT SINGERS HAVE. I LOVE SINATRA,SAW HIM WITH the "RAT PACK" and THE LAST TIME IN 1988. NICKY DEPAOLA reminds me of all of the GREATS OF the "RAT PACK" era. Esp. SINATRA. KEEP THE FLARE KID!!!!!"

"Why has'nt this GREAT SINGER! hit the BIG-TIME yet?? "UPTOWN MOOD" IS AWESOME! NICKY'S SOOOO SMOOTH. With the grammy winner, Ernie Watts on sax, this CD is a must for anybody who LOVES songs of a time when the music was so SPECIAL. NICKY D. takes you back to that SPECIAL time, with his own FLARE,his version of "AND I LOVE HER" would make John Lennon proud! My personal favorite is "WHO CAN I TURN TO?" The passion in his voice is unmatched! NICKY D. HAS BEEN BLESSED with the VOICE OF AN ANGEL!!"
