Oldham | London | 10/24/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Ni Hao's album Gorgeous is an exciting musical adventure; one which the listener should approach with an open mind. It's hard to guess their influences, since the sound is very vocal; one cannot compare them to anything one has heard before - certainly not without adding the over-used adage, 'on-acid'. It's brilliant, not for dancing, not for sitting, J-punk, that leaves you, stimulated, aroused, confused. Ni Hao are three young Japanese women, Yukari, Reo, and Ariko and they've got a lot to tell you. It hardly matters that most of their lyrics are in fact just sounds, the ferocity of the delivery says plenty. Love this album, I do."
