CD ReviewsPlaying Loud R. M. Silkey | 06/17/2009 (4 out of 5 stars) "I have the actual album of Walking Wild along with New England's second release. New England were pumped up to be the next big thing during the late 1970's when they first came out. After two decent efforts the band sort of lost their steam. Along comes Todd Rundgren and changes their direction....and for the better. Too bad the album never really made if commercially. It is their best effort. And, thanks to Wounded Bird for making this disc sound unreal. This CD has some bottom end that will rattle you neighbors windows as well as your own. This is touted as a re-issue. It sounds as if it has been remastered. If not, you sure fooled me. There a no liner notes indicating it has been remastered. Doesn't matter anyway. As I said before the recording sounds just awesome indeed. Rock on!"
