Synopsis
Product Description If you are eager to change colors of your life, improve your mood and get away of troubles of everyday life, just get into a groovy, joyful and a bit meditative stream of NEOCLUBBER's music. Welcome to the territory where there's no limits for anybody to love, make a pleasure, contemplate on life! UPLIFTING - the first album of NEOCLUBBER - is the entrance into the world of the rich human emotions. A tender voice combining with electronic sounds, the perfect arrangement and completely original recordings sculpts a special sort of atmosphere the main purpose of which is relaxation. A very romantic lyrics will touch your heart and soul. Every song tells a story and arouses a wish to be listened to the end. Melancholic and even sad shades in some tracks tone a cheerful, sometimes ironic and vital air of the album, but the whole impression of optimistic perception of life doesn't change. Debuting in pop-dance, NEOCLUBBER blends trance-house-pop-electronic and urban music with a vocal which was grown up in the traditions of country, jazz, and even rock music. So this unique combination makes "UPLIFTING" a fascinating thing claiming to become a phenomenon at the electronic music scene. "UPLIFTING" is the product of the successful union and comfortable co-existence of its participants who in their past existed in the different styles of music and now are organized into an unusual pairing. |
CD Reviews"Uplifting" To The End Robert E. Rinehart | West Jordan, Utah, USA | 02/20/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "Neoclubber's first album, "Uplifting," is true to its word from start to finish. The duo has a unique blend of influences that shows through in their music. While undoubtedly dance, this record is sort of like a future voyage through a time capsule. There are elements in these songs of good days of dance music gone by, but it is by no means a rehashing of the old. Rather, it's future retro, or progressive retro, or whatever moving-forward-while-respecting-the-past kind of adjective you want to put on it.
What is evident on this album are the raw emotions of each song. From the dance-driven styles of songs like "Dreams Come True" and "Another World" to the urban-inspired R&B styles of songs like "Killing Myself" and "Love Needs Angels," this album is filled to the brim with honest emotion. While some tracks have melancholic elements, the album overall is indeed "Uplifting." I recommend this album for fans of such bands as Cascada and September. That being said, though, Neoclubber has carved out a niche for themselves and are not really in anyone's shadow. The arrangement and composition is top-notch, and the vocals are truly ethereal. Neoclubber has set a high standard for themselves with this album. Fans like me are looking forwa" |
