"This is a splendid 56-track compilation from the fifties and includes accompaniments to vocalists of the calibre of Dick Haymes (solo and with the Andrews Sisters), Margaret Whiting, Nat King Cole, Patty Andrews, Bing Crosby, and Al Martino. The instrumentals span standards, theme tunes, and classics, and listening to this set is a reminder of just how widely Riddle spread his talents."

"Why would Amazon think many people are going to buy this or numerous other recordings when they fail to provide any audio clips? I really thought they had something to revive CD sales when they offered audio clips on most offerings. Now its been stripped down and even with a featured release we're supposed to make a purchase decision on a tract listing? I don't think so."
