London-based sextet Neck make their long-awaited American debut with the releae of Come Out Fighting. With over nine years of furious global gigging and previous album releases in Europe, these rockers blend traditional irish folk, old school punk rock and a lot of ale resulting in an absolutely entertaining experience. With producer Pat Collier (The Vibrators, The Wonderstuff), the album's fourteen songs run the gamut from rowdy, raucous drinking songs; angry political polemic; chest beating anthems and tear jerking ballads. Driven by the authentic voice of vocalist/songwriter Leeson O'Keeffe, Neck's exhilarating live show's has firmly established them as festival favorites from Moscow to Texas and all points in-between. Along with their own headline tours, they've performed alongside their US contemporaries (& friends) The Dropkick Murphy's, Flogging Molly as well as Shane MacGowan, The Levellers, Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones, and Hayseed Dixie to name a few. O'Keeffe's undeniable pedigree (ex-Shane MacGowan's Popes, plus direct connections to Johnny Rotten and Flogging Molly's Dave King), his body of work further includes material written and/or recorded with The Alabama 3 and Hayseed Dixie's most recent album.
