Nature Locked In a CD
ManOfPrecision | Lowers Bucks County, Pennsylvania | 12/25/2002

"This is one of Dan Gibson's best cd's. This album really helps in ways I cannot describe. I never felt so relaxed by such music combined with nature. The music in this cd is very helpful after a busy and stressful day. Personally, I would recommend listening to Sunshowers. Every track contains such great sounds that it will surely give you a spirit lift."
Nothing too particular about it...

"Though his work has become a bit repetitive after years of putting together and sponsoring New Age works through the past 20+ years (just type 'Dan Gibson' in here, and you'll be flooded with 68 results), he was a pioneer in what now has become the 'industry' of albums of natural sounds. Though some might regard this as a dubious honor, this type of music is widely used in all sorts of settings to assist with relaxation, therapy and massage sessions, among many other settings. However, you are better off with some of his other works. Yes, the music is nice: instrumentals beautifully layed out on top of natural sounds of river streams, birds singing, etc. but nothing that really engages you. Perhaps meant that way, that is, to NOT engage you in a fascinating way, but to rather stand as a fairly neutral musical background against which you can work or do other things while concentrating, but the truth is that 'Natural Concentration', after several listens, doesn't inspire me in the same way as his 'Stream of Dreams' or his Mountain Suite albums did."
