"Shouts out to Nappy Roots for keeping it true and real. This is a refreshing alternative to the drug , violent, ignorant, flashy, minstrel rap that seems to have taken over this past decade. Nappy roots delivered big time with this album Real, introspective, smart lyrics over organic hard knockin beats. Buy this album if u love hip hop that u can RELATE to and not FAKE TO. Otherwise go cop that new Wacka Flocka or drake album...like the rest of the sheep.

1. Wooden leather(classic point blank this album made me a fan)



2. Pursuit of Nappyness(Such a refreashing set of songs,beautiful muzic indeed)



3. Watermelon chicken and gritz (introduction to nappy hip hop from southern perspective)



4. Humdinger (This album kept the trunk of my 69 chevelle rattaling big time the whole summer)

"im not much for reviewing most music i come across, but i had to shout some praise for this album!!! rarely does an album move me as much as this one has already. if your on the fence on getting this album, just get it and smile.good positive uplifting music,best overall nappy roots yet!" the people " is about as "real" as it gets.amen"

"Self admitted hip-hop head. A lot of albums I get hyped over let me down with filler songs and distractions. It's been a while since and album/mixtape keeps me entertained throughout (last may have been Wale - Mixtape About Nothing), but this album is everything I could have hoped for. Very good production (still can't get over the opening track "Welcome to the Show") and no unnecessary features, which has plagued hip-hop for a while. It's Nappy Roots at their best - introspective, humble, and having a good time. People probably won't understand "Infield", but as a Kentuckian it brought a huge smile to my face when I first heard it. Other stand out tracks are "P.O.N.", "Ride", "Be Alright", and "Come Back Home".



While everyone is going to be listening to Drake - Thank Me Later (comparing only because they were released on the same day), I'll be listening to this. This is hip-hop, not rap with R&B for the sake of pop. Nappy Roots treats you like a fan, a lot of other artists/performers treat you like a customer."
