CD Reviews

Full Metal Alchemist.
01/20/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The anime, Full Metal Alchemist, has this wonderful song as its ending theme. "Indeliable Sin" it's called in English. Wonderful song. I love how her voice can go up and down and still retain the greatness and sorrow of Ed and Al's situation in Full Metal Alchemist. The rest of the songs are also very very awesome. The guitar and percussion are very cool (I needed a word that didn't have awesome in it) and Nana Kitade does wonders with these songs. Get this CD if you're a Full Metal Alchemist fan!

Note: This CD doesn't play on Windows Media Player on Anerica's version of Windows. Probably some region coding, but that makes it all the better, as it's even more assuring that this one is the real one, instead of a pirated (illegal/copied) copy. Maybe it has some kind of patch you can use so it'll play on WMP as it asks you if you want to install something when you stick it in your computer, but I can't read Japanese (and neither can my computer), so the "Install sh??? wiza?? ????????????" doesn't help much ^^;"
Great Single

"I first heard the song at the end of "Full Metal Alchemist" and it seemed to fit the energy of the series. It's worth mentioning that the song is very, very energetic and catchy. You'll probably be humming this song for days after hearing it just once.

The best way to describe it to someone who's not familiar with this artist is Belinda Carlisle (formerly of The Go-Go's) singing like she did in "Vacation" or "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" while doing a "Tragic Kingdom" No Doubt era Gwen Stefani impression to a song with a similar feel to "Spiderwebs". That description is lot to take in, but there aren't any samples of the song included here so you'll have to listen to those songs that I listed and imagine it."
One of the best song of Nana Kitade!

"When I began to watched "Fullmetal Alchemist" TV Series and heard this song for first time, I thought it was not good and I skipped it for the next episode, because I couldn't accommodate to song like this. But after I listened to it for more times, I found that this is a good song, it's rhythmic enough and has wonderful melody, the lyric is good too. What's more, it's really fit for "Fullmetal Alchemist"!"
