"Mystic Prophecy has taken over the throne of power metal. Fireangel is some what a continuation of satanic curses with some new elements. While some metal bands take their music down a notch. M.P. takes it up several notches. Soaring vocals, exploding drums, burning lead guitar and solos. Extremely brutal dual axe attack. This is what Atilla the hun and other barbarians would have listen to if metal was around in the medieval days. Fans of vicious rumors and iced earth should check this album out. The over all production and sound quality is brillant. True metal in the purest form."

"I was a bit bored with the last album, Satanic Curses. It seemed that after repeated listens, nothing reallly stuck out. With Fireangel I think they got back to being a little less heavy even though the cutting riffs are still present. I can play this album over & over & never tire of it, the songs being both lyrically intelligent & the song structures memorable. The guitar playing is the same melodic approach with the aggression splattered around instead of being forced on you. Great guitar leads on this album that you will recall after the album is done.

The "lasting impression" department ranks very high with highlights include Beyond the Gates of Hell, Demon's Crown, Father, & We Kill-You Die."
