And similar to their predecessors, the band distinguishes itself with fierce rhythm and guitar work that gives the album momentum. My first exposure to them was seeing them live in St Louis when some friends dragged me out. They took my breath away. On first listen, you might want to get up and dance. Start listening to the lyrics and you realize you aren't in Pleasantville anymore. The two vocalists, Julie Schreiber and Christy Cameron Smith, alternate on songs about everything from paranoia and heartache to despair and frustration. The guitars and percussion are handled by Paul Fini and Amy Spina who rock you on your journey to their soundscape. Keyboardist Preston Klik keeps everything together despite all that is going on. The band has been compared to everyone from Morcheeba,Portisehead, and the Sneaker Pimps, but one day some up and coming band will be compared to them."
