"Seriously odd. All the piano pieces are lovely, um, apart from the sloshing water and the moaning sounds. Not my idea of meditation, but perhaps this will soothe the heart of any forlorn blubber processors rendered idle by the International Whaling Commitee's moratorium."
Birth of a Genre

"This CD has created an entirely new genre. It's taken the beautiful music from the classical era and combined it with the magical and soothing music created naturally by nature's guardians, the whales. At such a low price, this CD is a steal. I feel like I should be paying a hundred times this to experience the joy that is "Songs of the Whales." I cannot wait for more CD's to come out like this. I would be ecstatic to hear of such hits as, "Hit Me Baby One More Time, With Whales," "Rock Around the Clock, With Whale accompaniment," or "Santa Baby, With Sounds of the Whales." I shall be saving my money up for the day that these wonderful songs, and more like them are released.

The only fault I could find in this marvelous CD was in Chopin's Nocturne No. 1. The whale songs in this piece were so marvelous that I really feel Chopin's music was not enough to support them, and that perhaps a better tune should have been the background to those beautiful whale songs."
