CD Reviews

Very cool garage single from rising star Ms Dynamite
Weather Warden | Auckland, NZ | 12/28/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"You wouldn't think Ms Dynamite was British, would you? Her music sounds American, and she looks like a American singer. But indeed Ms D is all British.
Her music is very RnBish garage. This is the first song I've heard from Ms Dynamite, and I liked it so much I want to hear more!"Dy-Na-Mi-Tee" is brilliant! It's basically about Ms D's life. She raps her way through it, helped by a catchier then the flu chorus and peculiar noises in the instrumentals in the middle of the song and at the end. You know it's Ms D when she says "I'm just Ms Dy-na-mi-tee!"This single is very cool. It has the radio edit of "Dy-Na-Mi-Tee", the best song on this single. Next, you have your standard usual remix, and finally a Lounge Radio 1 mix of "It Takes More" Ms D's first release. I never knew women could swear so bad! It also has the video, which is very cool.Overall, a funky single which will do Ms Dynamite well here in New Zealand. This would do well in America, and it's already big in the UK. Ms Dynamite is a rising star, and will definitely do well!"
