Synopsis

Album Description
MRNORTH returns with their new album "Fear & Desire," recorded and mixed at Stratosphere Sounds in New York and the state-of-the-art RED Studios in San Francisco. Their critically acclaimed first album, "Lifesize," was produced and mixed by the power combo of Jerry Harrison (No Doubt, O.A.R., Live, Talking Heads) and Tom Lord-Alge (well, everything you have heard on the radio in the last 15 years). This time, the Dublin foursome teamed up with the production and engineering prowess of Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, The Cure) and co-mixer Keith Hilldebrant (Nine Inch Nails); the result is a beautifully orchestrated record, on which the band finally achieved what they've wanted to for years - a record that fully captures the massive sound and energy that pervades their dynamic live sets.

CD Reviews

Amazing

"Today, I received my Fear and Desire masterpiece!

I found it in my mailbox while heading out in my car, popped it in my cd player and was just so overwhelmed with the rich, beautiful sound that I had to pull over and just listen.

I purchased this after hearing Sleeping Dogs which was just so amazing.....and I am so glad that I did. I would highly recommend this to any and all. Gave me goosebumps!

The overture drawing me in and throughout this work.....From the vocals, instrumentals, the orchestral fullness adding to the mix.... to production...I was so moved.....truly a gift to the soul!"
Great Up-and-Coming Band!

"This album is fabulous, even better than Mrnorth's first album, Lifesize. The melodies are haunting and the lead singer, Colin, has an amazing range. I highly recommend this album for fans of U2 and similar bands."
It Was Worth the Wait!

"I was not impressed with this album the first few times I listened to it. In fact, I was quite shocked after the first listen because I thought it was so different from their first album (which I really, really like!). But this new album has grown in me with time, and now I can't stop listening to it! This new album shows maturity in all aspects. It was truly well done! Excellent!

By the way, I recommend you get the Sleeping Dogs EP as well, which has some great songs on it, and which I believe you can get only through iTunes and Napster.
