CD Reviews

This Man is Favorable
Tequila Sunrise | Atlanta, GA | 10/03/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album, just like all the rest, has major expression. To me, that's what rap is all about. It seems as if with this one, you can feel the troubles, pain and hunger. Not to mention, doing the best on his own, without being dictated. I am really feeling #7, #10, #11, #12, #17 and most of all, #22 (TEQUILA DREAMS)lol"
Serv-on Got That Work

"This is Serv-on's best CD yet. Think about it? Plus, he's not even with No Limit any more and tearin' things up on a Independent level. I feel that. Personally, I'd like to get a better understanding of the fallout between him and the tank though. The whole CD was Animalistic."
Decent 3rd album - 1st not on No Limit - 3.5 stars

(3 out of 5 stars)

"Mr. Serv-On delivers an alright album for his third effort, and his first since parting With P and No Limit. It equals his first album "Life Insurance", but is a little behind his previous effort "Da Next Level" and his 5th album "No More Questions". Lacks some of the production that the No Limit releases gave him, but he gets to shine a lot more as he isn't drowned out by the $h!+load of guests that No Limit always had (only has 5 or 6 of the 20 songs with someone else Rapping on it). He still has his deep thought provoking songs on here as well as his hyped up party type joints and some dedicated to the ladies. Has a song or two talking about his No Limit days & homies as well as a long paragraph on the inside of the booklet. A good album to have for fans, but not his best work.
