Nice idea, but....

"This is a compilation that makes a lot of sense; why not combine the three major chamber music works for this configurarion of instruments. However, the Mozart suffers from ill-considered tempi, especially the fist movement, which never burbles along the way it should. Some questionable performance practice decisions, too. The clarinet sound tends to come in and out of focus, not sure what was going on with that. The Schumann and Bruch are attractive and straightforward enough, but are less strong pieces than the Mozart."
