Excellent listening for a great price!

"I received this volume of Mozart's Quintets last Friday and have listened to them twice now over the weekend. This quintet is immensely warm and bright. They play skillfully and beautifully. The music is rich and smooth throughout. Although I haven't compared these pieces with other quintets performing them, I dare say that on their own, they are every bit as good as the better known quartet players of the day (ie; Borodin, Emerson, Julliard, and Kronos to name a few). You just can't beat this level of chamber music for such a low priced CD."
