My favorite opera aria collection

"This collection is worth it if only for Lucia Popp's rendition of Ruhe sanft, mein holdes Leben (Zaide). It's one of the most glorious and moving arias (I have no idea what it's saying, but the music is so beautiful for me it means the universe with all its joys and sorrows)"

A Wonderful Intro to Opera!

"I, myself, have always stayed away from opera...but now that I have given it a try, I've been delightfully surprised! My friend's Dad lent this to me one time, along with the Magic Flute (Die Zauberflote), which I had been wanting to buy, and this is a great introduction into the art of opera! Mozart was an absolutely brilliant composer, and these are some beautiful arias! This will give you a bit of and idea of what each opera he's done sounds like...Die Zauberflote is my personal favorite, it has the most magnificent music! This is for all people who are deciding to give opera a chance and for those who just want some beautiful arias by a very gifted composer! Enjoy!"
