"Now honestly when you ask people who Nuno Bettencourt is the majority don't know.when you say he played guitar for EXTREME the band that did MORE THAN WORDS then they remember.well all i have to say to those people are READ THE NAME OF TRACK 6 ON THIS CD.MOURNING WIDOWS are simply amazing.whether you listen to ALL AUTOMATIC or AIR THAT YOU BREATH which were previously on the first MOURNING WIDOWS album, or if you just relaxing listening to SPACE or ready for some havy stuff like NO REGRETS,this album has something for everyone.if you are expecting to hear Extreme part 2 you better look somewhere else, but if you are finding yourself wanting to listen to 1 of the best guitarists alive, then you've found it right here.FURNISHED SOULS FOR RENT"
A break from the same midless music

"If you are tired of hearing the same thing from the mainstream music market, then this CD is the answer. Nuno Bettencourt has been a pioneer of original riffs and amazing guitar solos. That should be enough to give this CD a try, but it has much more to offer. If you are like me and are tired of hearing tons of chord progressions with many bands sounding like and the same, then Furnished Souls for Rent is a perfect place to start. THe band pulls out a ton of original ideas. Every track offers something new-from 70's style wa pedals in 667 to techno bass in Sick Punk. In a market of 3 minute songs that lack much talent, Mourning Widows gives us all something to enjoy. If you miss guitar solos that showcases talent; or a bass line that doesn't sound like the same chord of a guitar player; and finally, if you like a drummer that tries some new things and stays away from the same old stuff that we have been hearing for the past couple years, then you owe it to yourself to buy this CD. You won't regret it."

"This man is magic... I always wonder "could he get any better than this?" And then he does. The first album was an absolute surprise of change of style full of quality, but the second is much more impressive, all power and energy and feelings. Also, the band sounds like a compact team. An amazing work, Nuno!!"
