Bboy's dream come true
Doc Roc | the breaking floor. | 04/05/2000

"Their rhyme structures are amazing. Yeah, Eminem's good, but there's more rhythm in these guys' lines. Unlike most underground artists (who seem to be mainstream guys who weren't good enough to make it), these guys can actually handle a mic (I've seen them live), and they've got some phat beats. The beats, with a touch of soul and jazz are actually music (Chops plays the instruments). These guys are true Hip Hop - not because they sounds like the rest, but more because they refuse to sound like the rest."
The CD is Off the Hook

"This is what hip hop was all about. Tight flows, ill beats, smooth MC's who know how to work the mic. I heard these cats play thier own instruments so I'm really wondering if they're going to come out with a live cd. Maybe down the road. It's obvious that Chops is the one with the major skills, he has the ability to survive on his own if the group was to ever dis-band. The track that I'm really feeling is Paper Chase, and there's this one track that is not on the album called Thourobred. If you get a chance, peep that joint because it is off the hook."
A Instant Hip-Hop Classic

"I was totally blown away by this album. It has everything a hip-hop fiend desires. Tight original beats, dope flows, and an underground sound that deserves to be heard by the masses. Easily one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. My personal favorites are "Galaxies:the Next Level" and "Fluids." Check em out!"
