MOTORHEAD Live at Castle Donington, 1986.Phil ripps it out!
dantheman | Montreal, Que. Canada | 04/07/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This re-issue is amazing because of the 2nd disc, it features the live performance that Motorhead did at the Castle Donington, MONSTERS OF ROCK festival back in '86.Right off the release of one of there best albums, "orgasmotron".Now i was surprised at how good the audio sounded of this concert because i heard the recording of the "kerrang weekender" '84 concert from the re-issue of the "orgasmotron" album.I was really dissapointed man, let's just say that the audio ain't happnin dude!.So when i bought the "rock'n'roll" re-issue i had my fingers crossed that the recording would be better, and sure enough it was worth the arm & a leg charge of $35 canadian.

First off you can hear both Phil and Wurzel perfectly. And the recording of lemmy's voice is almost eerie. You can also hear that it must of been alteast a few thousand people there and you can tell that they were really diggin the adrenaline rush of hearing these crazy mothers ripn it up.And Phil campbell one of my favourite guitarist in metal really deliverse the goods on this cd.

So if your thinking of buying atleast one re-issue and you really digged motorhead in the mid/late 80's then this re-issue has your name on it dude! or dudettes.

Alright cool man, catch u on the flip side."
