This new release captures all of what?s best about Mother Blues as well as the re-energized blues scene in Chicago. The CD contains 17 tracks covering every conceivable blues sub-genre. The style is also strongly evocative of the old Stax and Atlantic offerings from such artists as Otis Redding and Wilson Picket. The tunes are all original, penned by either guitarist Steve Bramer or vocalist Gerald McClendon. Some local Chicago music veterans have been calling it a masterpiece.
