CD Reviews

Beautiful soothing instrumentals!
(5 out of 5 stars)

"My brother, who lives in HW, introduced me to this man's lovely music on a visit home. It's gorgeous stuff! It's a combination of flamenco style with Hawaiian lilting melodes..."

"I don't use the word "beautiful" too often (its a guy thing I guess), but no other single word could better describe the music on this CD. It reminds me of my days on the islands, and I've never been to Hawaii!"
An amazing Hawaiian music experience!

"Moses is an EXCEPTIONAL musician that plays acoustic Hawaiian slack key(a different tuning)guitar music. This is a solo acoustic guitar CD(no electric-acoustic buzz here)along with four lovely vocals sung in Hawaiian that will give you a real appreciation of his wonderful voice and the beautiful Hawaiian language. He plays this on a classical style nylon stringed guitar. Very soothing to your ears, and the clarity of the recording lets you appreciate it all.
I have been told when he was perfoming live, he would walk on to the stage wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a BIG smile! And then he would begin to play, and his fingers would fly, and make it all look so easy, and presented so humbly.
Easy is a good description of the music, for the easy feeling you get when you listen to it. You also feel happy, very fortunate, and delighted. That is what Hawaiian music is all about. The Aloha is free!
I also listen to other Hawaiian guitarists, but Moses is my favorite. His talent is VERY special, and you'll want to listen to it over and over without tiring of it.
So, listen, relaxe, and SMILE! Aloha!"
