Synopsis

Album Description
How much could a band accomplish in less than a year and a half? How about two European tours (one with Agnostic Front), several tours of US and Canada, a massive worldwide fanbase, multiple 7's and appearances on comps, a CD EP and a deal with Revelation Records. It's not likely that most bands could accomplish so much in so little time. However, Morning Again is nothing like most bands. "This band is as much about the message in our lyrics as it is about the music," says Wylie. Judging by their road trips, the band is as much about touring as it is about the music as well. In a short 18 months, Morning Again have covered an immense amount of ground, playing all over North America. With over 8 tours under their belt ranging from 1 to 4 weeks in length, Morning Again have more experience on the road than the majority of their hardcore brethren who have been at it for considerably longer. Shortly after releasing their CD EP, "Martyr", on Goodlife Records, the band toured all of Europe with Agnostic Front. They went over so well, Morning Again returned a few months later to headline a tour of their own. Seemingly overnight, these five kids from Florida had acquired a huge following, sold nearly ten thousand records and gained the interest of several different record companies. The band opted for Revelation Records and are now releasing their debut full length, "As Tradition Dies Slowly", which is by far the bands' most devastatingly brutal release to date. If Slayer were to begin writing hardcore songs, their next album would probably sound a lot like RAs Tradition Dies SlowlyS. Morning Again plan to take metal hardcore to a whole new level and tour the world.

CD Reviews

Ahhh, thank goodness!
10/10/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Yes! More fierce, gut-wrenching vocals over almost melodic-like metal riffs and intricacies. Heavy, heavy, heavy, and delectable to the ears. Very, very nice, indeed! Shai Hulud, Zao, Strongarm, Harvest, Another Victim, and Throwdown are also good. Have fun kiddies!"
