"Some how the Punk scene had overlooked the brillant Moral Crux until a few years ago. Their earlier ablbums suffered due to incredibly bad distribution. Well thats no longer the case, thanks to the release of their new album on the Lookout Records Distributed Panic Button Label, Moral Crux has been able to get the majority of their back catalog rerelease and distributed properly this time. "The Side Effect Of Thinking" was originally released by Polemic Records and was their strongest release at that point. James T. Farris X's lyrics are biting social commentary set to Vibrators/buzzcocks/SLF style punk-pop. In a genre stereo typed as being nothing but "songs about girls" Moral Crux show us that some people in the scene still have something important to say."
