CD Reviews

Moore & Moore are #1

"Million Roses is the follow-up to Master Of My Own Destiny, and well worth the wait! This CD has 16 songs, 1 better than the next!!! The Highlight of the CD is the live version of "Wish You Were Here" which was co-written by Debbie Moore, Bill Anderson (reunited here, singing on the song Bill, You're Still The One) and Skip Ewing. If you've only heard Mark Wills' version of Wish You Were Here, you haven't really heard the song yet!!! Almost Doesn't Count is one of the best songs I've heard in years. One of the most touching songs is Sister, My Sister, written by Debbie for Carrie (YES, they are twins!) Anyone who was ever a child could probably relate to the song Ring Around Rosie's Finger. Debbie and Carrie (or is it Carrie and Debbie?) have a harmony that cannot be found elsewhere in Country Music, and they really shine on Snow White Is Blue, His Song, and the title song Million Roses. And, if this isn't enough to convince you, Moore & Moore even have duets with Jerry Reed, the Jordanaires and Shawn Camp!!! Another Home Run for Moore and Moore!"

"This is a great album! The harmony of these two girls is better than any I have heard. It sounds like they have fun with their music. I like all of the songs but my favorite is "I Love It When A Man Does That". My husband thinks "I Just Know" is the best. Why hasn't a major record label picked these girls up?"

"As a Moore & Moore fan for many years, I have been anxiously awaiting the follow up to their last album, "Master of My Own Destiny". "Million Roses" has been well worth the wait. Packed with 16 songs, this collection showcases the tight sibling harmonies that I love along with top-notch songwriting from Debbie & Carrie. Along with the title cut, other standouts include "Wings", "Ring Around Rosie's Finger", "Almost Doesn't Count", "His Song", "I Just Know" and Moore & Moore's cover of the Mark Wills hit, written by Debbie Moore, "Wish You Were Here". This album showcases the talented singing and songwriting of one of the best duos in country music! I am listening to the album as I write this and find that I love ALL these songs. Right now "I Don't Have The Heart" is playing... this album rocks!"
