"The Moonflowers was one of the greatest bands the world has ever known, creating a mad blend of psychadelic, folk, jazz, pop, funk, politics, ambient, experimentalism, and the ideals of peace and love to create lovely, beautiful music. This album was put together from a few random bits leftover from earlier albums....and it's still pretty good. However, I'd suggest buying it from their own label's page, at Colours and Sounds (for some reason, Amazon.com won't let me put a url into this review...just google search for "Colours and Sounds", you'll see it, and go the mailorder section). They have all of the Moonflowers albums, as well as different side projects and friends...I'd suggest starting with "Colours and Sounds" as an introduction to them, arguably their finest album, and the one for which their new label was named! After that maybe "From Whales to Jupiter". Still, I really reccomend getting into their music....it's free and wonderful, and I hope you enjoy it."
