Two bassists and a powerhouse drummer!

"Thanks to Knitting Factory records for re-releasing these lost gems. Vernon Reid plays as much banjo as guitar, giving the horns room to move. I've never heard two bassists play together without stepping on each other's toes, but Melvin Gibbs and Bruce Johnson pull it off. Great stuff, over 15 years old and still ahead of its' time."
