"So I was in the record store and came upon this album. I had heard of the Monks and decided to give them a shot. The best decision I have done in a record store. What was most surprising about the record was how experimental it sounded. Keep in mind the Beatles had not yet released Revolver, Dylan Blonde On Blonde, and the Beach Boys Pet Sounds. This is on par with those albums and in some ways better.

The music is unbelievable. It sounds so ahead of its time; it makes Tomorrow Never Knows sound like bubblegum pop. And the sound quality. Man the sound quality is so good you swear it was recorded yesterday. Light In the Attic did a wonderful job remastering this gem. Hope they get their hands on more recordings. Love everything about the record. Even the packaging is awesome."

"I adore the Monks, and in fact, bought this CD years ago before I knew that the Monks received NOTHING from sales of this disc. It is basically a disc that pirated their music and it is being sold for profit without their permission."
