CD Reviews

A great voice, a great disc!

"This is a terrific showcase for the London stage star, who has a deep, rich, exciting voice. And the songs are first-rate, including two numbers from "Sunset Boulevard," in which he starred opposite Petula Clark. This is one of my favorite Broadway-themed discs released this year."
The "Moment" has arrived!

"Graham Bickley has a big, thrilling voice, like a classic Broadway leading man from the '50s. But there is a contemporary edge to his sound that makes him seem completely modern. Here, he sings songs that range from "Hey There" from "The Pajama Game" and "Try to Remember" from "The Fantasticks" to "Too Much in Love To Care" from "Sunset Boulevard" and "Does the Moment Ever come," from a show called "Just So." It's a great mix of songs that blends the old with the new, the familiar with the unknown. Definitely a keeper -- I got a couple of CDs for Christmas, but this one is already my favorite."

"My voice teacher and I study Broadway as well as classical vocal selections. I found this CD by accident and showed it to her. She likes it so much that she wants a copy!"
