ˇFantástico!

"Le Modulor is a superb third album from M?nia. Their first album was probably the most widely danced to, however, most of the songs on the first album sound somewhat similar to each other. Adición, the second album release from M?nia was excellent. Adición was extremely reminiscent of Depeche Mode. Depeche Mode is of course, by far, the best Synthpop band ever to grace the earth. And here, the third time around, we have the best features of the first two albums put together to form one new album. Le Modulor has some very danceable songs, plus all of them are extremely memorable. Overall it tends to be a little slower than Adición, but still remains superb and it somewhat surpasses it predecessor. You certainly wont forget these songs anytime soon. But, best of all, this is the most Synthpop-like album to date from M?nia. The second you lay eyes on Le Modulor and see its totally original packaging you know you're going to be in for a treat. Here is a run-down of the trac!ks:

1.) Miro Al Sol - This song begins sounding very 80's then transforms into a somewhat melancholy sound but still remains very memorable. 4/5

2.) Tranquilidad - The lyrics in this one are very similar to Depeche Mode; the lyrics rhyme very well and seem to roll together perfectly. Very smooth and complete. 5/5

3.) Molde Perfecto - This is the most widely heard song so far. There is no question as to why that is. This is extremely memorable and the most danceable on the album; it is also the most heavily electronic. It has an excellent beat and great lyrics; even if you don't speak Spanish, you will still remember the lyrics! 5/5

4.) Indefenso - Another great track. Much slower than the others, but still quite memorable; has a sound somewhat like that of Dark-Wave. 5/5

5.) ¿Cómo ves tú? - Yet another great track, this one is somewhat up beat. It is very pleasing to listen to this; it can put you in a better mood. You wont forget this one. 5!/5

6.) Hoy Viviré - Another catchy track, this one has a lot of radio possibility. It's softer than most but it touches you. Great beat, great lyrics; this is one of the most memorable tracks. 5/5

7.) En Tí - This is a very slow and relaxing song. It's very calming and quite; gentle and peaceful-then the song completely transforms near the end to a rough sounding electronic instrument, without lyrics, the transition is very nicely done. This is one they will definitely not play on the radio, but it's still great to listen to! 5/5

8.) Llegaste A Mí - This has a pretty good beat and some more great lyrics. It's a nice combination of vocals and electronics. This is another one that is somewhat upbeat; it's very memorable as well. 5/5

9.) Mutación - A little slower than most, but with an upbeat sound, less electronic than the others. It's still very good, and quite memorable, thought not quite on par with the rest of the songs as far as being electronic! goes. You'll have to appreciate this one more for its lyrics. 4/5

10.) Hay Que Caer - This is the most aggressive track on the album, and it is, by far, my favourite. You cannot forget the great beat, superb lyrics and the excellent synthesized sounds. It just keeps getting better as it goes along. Superb! 5/5

All of the songs have a somewhat haunting quality to them; you cannot help but love that. This album is a superb third effort by M?nia and it's very refreshing to finally see some great new Synthpop bands. Overall this album is superb and there is no reason you should be without it. It comes 100% whole-heartedly recommended."

This is an awsome cd! Moenia has produced a cd that combines the best qualities of the other cd's. There is notably less guitar and more electronic sounds on this than from "adicion". Check out "como ves tu?" and "mira el sol" and "llegaste a mi". While I respect Depeche Mode for what they've accomplished in the past, I think Moenia does it better. Check this one out for sure!"

"This is the best produced and composed album in the moenia's history, this should be an example for all latin bands in the way of producing a record, the sound mixing is more than amazing, the lirics and the music is more "live" that in their last album ADICION. The song "en ti" is incredible, also "mutacion". The package also is an example of packaging design and that the band takes care of being different and innovative in all the possible ways. If you like electronic music, you should have this one. Beware of Latin's depeche Mode"
