Rastakraut Pasta is the first release from the duo of Dieter Moebius and Conny Plank, originally released on Sky Records in 1980. Moebius and Plank had worked together before on numerous records, with Moebius playing and Plank producing on works from Cluster and Harmonia. As the title suggests this album is heavily influenced by dub and reggae and those rhythms are incorporated into the ambient space-rock one would expect from these German pioneers of Kosmische musik.
