"This out-of-print KRB label release contains Mitch
Ryder highlights from 1966 to 1971. It contains 10 essential
recordings digitally remastered for excellent sound quality.
Included are 3 songs from his 1966 debut (with the Detroit Wheels) "TAKE A RIDE" ("Shake A Tail Feather","Baby Jane",
"Jenny Take A Ride"), 2 songs from 1966's "BREAKOUT..!!"
("Little Latin Lupe Lu","Devil With A Blue Dress") & 3 cuts
from 1967's "SOCK IT TO ME!" ("Sock It To Me Baby","Too Many
Fish In The Sea","I'd Rather Go To Jail"). It also features
1 song from the 1969 classic (& hard-to-find) Steve Cropper-produced "THE DETROIT-
MEMPHIS EXPERIMENT" (the Cropper-Ryder penned "Liberty", which
also features Cropper on guitar). Rounding out this collection
is arguably the best song on the CD, a cover of Lou Reed's "Rock & Roll" (featuring Steve Hunter on guitar). This is from the 1971
classic "DETROIT WITH MITCH RYDER" release (another hard-to-
find gem). Highly Recommended!!"
