CD Reviews

Great Remixes

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Sometimes when you get one person doing multiple remixes of a song, they all sound the same. Mousse T's remixes are not this case. Each one is unique and different. It has the album version & track 2, which is the original version with a chorus comprised of real words "Do you know, about the gossip folk...." It has the full Fatboy Slim Remix. Then, each of Mousse T's 4 remaining remixes are great club mixes with a different sound for each. The Pogo Remix has a rock 'n roll kind of sound. The Mousse T. & Royal Garden remix has an infectious beat that everyone could love. The So Phat remix has a techno type of beat that's difficult to put into words that mixes various clashing sounds that manage to blend well. Last, the Afropean Ride Remix Video Version has an eclectic African tribe sound that combines various tribal sounds and instruments. I highly recommend this single to any Missy fan or pure fan of hip-hop sounds."
