Synopsis

Product Description
Limited edition Live CD recorded at the legendary Shepherds Bush Empire in London on 30th May 2007.
The Mission have a reputation as one of the best and most exciting live bands in the world winning countless accolades, and a fanatical following. Highlights include seven sold out consecutive shows at the Astoria Theatre in London (they still hold the house record to this day), and headlining the famous Reading Festival twice.

It all began in late 1985. Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams left The Sisters Of Mercy and formed The Mission with Yorkshiremen Mick Brown (ex Red Lorry Yellow Lorry) and Simon Hinkler (ex Artery / Pulp). In early 1986 they embarked on their first European tour, supporting The Cult. They released 2 singles independently, both reaching No.1 in the UK alternative charts, before signing a worldwide record deal. They have never looked back with total worldwide record sales to date now exceeding 4 million.

With their first studio album for over 5 years having been unleashed in 2007, The Mission embarked on a Europe wide tour, and we were lucky enough to capture a very special night at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London.
