Synopsis

Album Description
MÍNUS have established themselves as one of the world?s most creative Artists. Like other Icelandic musical exports - BJORK and SIGUR ROS, there is no discrete way to verbally describe MÍNUS? artistically musical dissonance. Very few Artists have the ability to spawn music that defies description and breeds trends. Vocalist Krummi describes the sound on the new album as "?more melody, a stronger focus on cohesive musicianship coupled with rock infused with a progressive streak?". MÍNUS have forged a new revolution in music. They are the anti-trend, yet at the same time are trend defining. MÍNUS provide what every true music fan craves and searches for ? originality.

"I have a question. If you don't like a CD, why bother even writing a review of it? When you say something is horrible, a million other people will disagree with you, and be pissed. All I can attribute it to is being naive. That said, I just picked up this CD after loving "Jesus Christ Bobby." Yes, they did change their sound a bit, losing the intense hardcore sound and screaming, while sticking more to melody. Don't get me wrong, they still pack a punch, with very heavy guitars and the singing fits right in. (Think "Modern Haircuts," "Pulse", and "Denver" from JCB.) I, for one, am not disapointed in their switch of musical style. As long as the songs are well-written and catchy, I enjoy a wide range of heavy music. These guys didn't sell out or anything, they are just sticking to what they did best on their previous album. All of the songs are great, and I see these guys as true artists. They are making beautiful music with thought-provoking lyrics. Completely original stuff. Doesn't get much better than this."
