Bamboo Moon Musik is an independent artist owned label founded by bansuri and silver flutist, gamelan artist and composer Mindia Devi Klein. Mindia Devi was a founding member of ANCIENT FUTURE, the award winning multi-cultural instrumental ensemble that is credited with coining the term World Fusion Music!. Bamboo Moon Musik was created to give a voice to the ideas and values expressed in music born out of Mindia's love of pure sound, as an expression of spirit, nature, essence and the deepest aspirations of humankind. The name Bamboo Moon relates to that humble yet evocative hollow reed which so simply yet elegantly expresses the most subtle and sophisticated of sound qualities and vibrations. And to the Moon, our celestial mirror which reflects the depths and heights of our emotional and spiritual vistas and gives inspiration to make the hollow bamboo sing.
