"The only reason I was even remotely interested in this band is explained best by three little letters - XTC.

If my information is accurate and (hopefully) correct, Andy Partridge was so impressed with this band that he signed them to his Ape Records label and even participated in some various knob-twiddling, guitar strumming and offering up a few choice "la-la's" here and there on certain tracks. Once again, then, I'll use my good old dependable word to best describe this recording ...... AWESOME!!

If you're a fan of jangly, (stupidly) happy "feel-good" pop music of the highest caliber, then this release is right up your alley, folks. I cannot recommend this album strongly enough without coming across as sounding silly as hell about it .... so I'll offer the following in its most simplistic format: GET THIS!!!!!!

You won't be disappointed .... as the late Hunter S. Thompson used to say, "Trust me - I know these things."
