""Debut album by this band from Sheffield (home to their buddies The Arctic Monkeys as well as Def Leppard, Human League, ABC, Pulp and others). This band has a knack for writing great big hooks that need to be heard. 12 tracks including the single 'Cheshire Cat Smile'."
That's what the official review said in a nutshell, and I concur about the hooks. This orange covered album has 3 more tunes than the blue cover version. All I can add is that when I first listened to these guys, I was blown away by how great they were, right from the first listening. It reminded me of the when I first heard Elvis Costello's My Aim Is True album and knew that I had stumbled onto someone with amazing talent that stood heads and shoulders above the rest of the yobs out there. They DO NOT sound like EC and The Attractions, mind, but I predict that they will turning heads soon, with this being only their first release. I listen to a lot of new music, and these guys have IT! Well crafted and performed, original pop punk. Give'm a listen."
