What a fun piece of work!

"I first heard of Mike Dowling when he appeared on A Prairie Home Companion this spring. After hearing him do just a couple of tunes I had to go looking for his CDs, and ordered "Live at the Cafe Carpe" and "String Crazy". Cafe Carpe is my favorite of the two, with lots of good guitar, mandolin, and fiddle music, and a bit of truly funny humor. Anyone who likes acoustic guitar, and/or bluegrass music, will probably enjoy this CD."
