Surprisingly good for a "Pop-Punk" band. Driving guitars, concise drumming, excellent harmonies... you can ask little else from music, much less punk music! I first heard "Become What You Hate" on the Warped Tour, which immediately caught my ear. It is tuneful, insightful, and has a terrific chorus/hook; incidentally, it's also the first song on the CD... but the rest of the CD is as much of a pleasure: an amazing feat! Next, I was blown away by the radio single, "Like a Movie," which lives up to every bit of the promise displayed in the first song. I made it all the way through this album without skipping a track. Standout, I adore it. Midtown should be a household name. Spin it if you like New Found Glory and MXPX. Let's face it, they're 8000x better than bands like Good Charlotte. Granted, it's no Black Flag or Rancid, but don't you prefer a little punk ear candy once in awhile?

CD Reviews

Living Well is a great CD

"Despite their lack of on-air time, I really like their sound. It is the best of their three CDs, with Save the World next and Forget what you know in a definite last place. Also check out Autopilot Off if you like Midtown."
A Little Classic Of Mine

"This album will forever be tucked in with some of my all time classic rock/punk/alternative discs. And I know this does not compare to my lifelong favorite "Let it Bleed" by the Stones, but it is catchy, full of guitar, melody, and harmonies. Songs 1-10 are all very good, the first five tracks are great, reminiscent of MXPX and The Movielife mixed together. These songs are ones that I have lived in. I can put in this disc and rock out, or just drift away, and each one reminds me of times in my life that are precious to me. This CD is WAY better than their 2004 release "Forget What You Know." If you are hungry for some power pop/punk rock, this will satisfy your appetite for months!"
