CD ReviewsTaking back america scott shrine | fracboid, Mississippi | 08/09/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "that's right those nasty european free jazz masters have copped stole improved played masterfully america's riteful free jazz music. it's american music, not european. this is where it was born and this is where it should die.the micro-east collective (you can call'em jus' "east") is taking it back ever since zorn & milo fine have seemed to given it up. ok so milo is still out there plugging away, but no one will listen to him, just because he is in minnesota (UNFAIR!) micro-east collective may be to advanced even for the avant garde jazz fan. that's ok, they seem to have fun while doing it. this cd SCREAMS "VIVA L'AMERICA!'"
