Synopsis

Album Description

Digitally remastered reissue of this solo album by the former leader of The Deviants, originally released in 1978. Joining him on this anarchic roller coaster are Chrissie Hynde, Sonja Kristina (Curved Air), Wilco Johnson and Larry Wallis. Opening the album with a Frank Zappa cover ('Trouble Coming Every Day'), shortened and sharpened, it becomes a statement of intent. And then onto 'Half Price Drinks' and 'I Want A Drink', there's a definite conceptual angle here. This is, without doubt, Farren's most enjoyable solo outing, a sassy swagger of an album. Mischief.
