CD Reviews

Loved the Music, but...

"There are multiple listings for this CD on Amazon.com, so I'm not sure if they all play the same way. I cannot listen to this disk on my computer, or on a CD player that also works with my Mp3 player. This is a very big disappointment to me personally, as I only have one player it will work on and that's in my car.

That being said, the music in the ENTIRE series is absolutely beautiful, so I can't manage to leave this album with a completely negative review. I'm a bit of a soundtrack nerd, but this has to be one of the best I've ever heard. From episode 1 through the movie, the sounds are emotionally written and profound in many places. If you're just planning on popping this disk into your CD player, it's worth getting. If you were planning on adding it to a Mp3 player, you might end up disappointed."
Great Cd. Can play on computer and RIP. Directions Follow.

"I first tried to import this cd running XP. Did not work any way I tried(Itunes, media player or just moving the track files over manually). MediaMonkey "MIGHT" work if you are still in the trial period or purchase the full license. DO NOT follow any autorun installs this CD has. Will mess you computer up. I Tried.

Just this morning I put the disk in my Toshiba laptop running Vista(64 bit not sure if professional or not) fully updated. Waited untill the Vista prompt(what do you want to do with this CD popup) came up and chose rip cd with windows media player. Ripped it like a champ. I then burned the album to a blank cd & imported to Itunes on my XP. I am listening to it on my ipod while typing. OST 2 & 3 went to XP no prob. Now to the review.

This Soundtrack is with out a doubt one of the best I've heard & own(Complete recordings of all LOTR films and both MMORPGs, lots of Bleach, Bravehart etc.). All the music is fantastic. My favorite track is Brothers. Such a moving song with fantastic vocals. Also love "Sky-High Pure Spirit", its the walk & talk music of ED & AL. If anyone even likes this series you should get this cd. All the emotion this series pumpes out just floods out of you speakers like a title wave washing over you. But in a good way.

F.Y.I. Watch Conqueror of Shamballa after you watch this series. It takes place 2yrs after the last episode. You will understand & be able to follow what's happening in the movie then."
